HUGO'S HULLABALOO - Ed Boxall

A lively and engaging Starters title for beginner readers from author-illustrator Ex Boxall, with a friendly text and stylish two-colour illustrations.

Hugo's Hullabaloo is part of Walker Starters, the wonderfully fun and friendly series for beginner readers. There was once a king and queen. They lived with their son Hugo in a big, big castle. Hugo has every toy he could wish for, but he's still very lonely. What he needs is a wild hullabaloo! This is a charming and uplifting story told through a range of writing styles, including hand-lettered invitations and speech bubbles. The illustrations, which appear on every page, are lively and stylish, and play an active part in helping children understand the text.
